Hello Positive Astros! 

It has been another amazing week at NAES! Our Kindergarten- 2nd Grade students worked hard and showed grit as they conquered their first FAST STAR Assessments of the school year. Please remember that we are celebrating Attendance Awareness for the entire month of September. We are currently in fifth place in the elementary attendance competition for our county! Let’s keep up the great work and see if we can move up the rankings this week! Within our school building, our 2nd graders had the highest attendance of the week (97.9%). 

Our first Early Release Day will be on this Wednesday, Sept. 10th! School will dismiss at 1:10pm. Here are a few very important reminders: 

• Attendance is still being monitored during Early Release Days as well. It is still important that your child attends school, arrives on time, and dismisses at 1:10 pm. 
• Parents of Kindergarten and 1st Grade bus riders,  must be at the bus stop at the adjusted time. 
• Parent pick up line will  run from 1:10-1:45 pm.
• Walkers will release at 1:20 pm.

Please remember to enter the Parent Pickup line from the correct entrance. Thank you for following the correct procedures to ensure everyone’s safety!
