Neil Armstrong Elementary School

We are looking for polished acts from students in grades 3–5 and family groups  (K–5 parent and child, parents and children, older sibling with younger sibling) to audition for our Leader in Me 7 Habits Family Night Talent show on April 10, 2026, to showcase our Positive Astros’ special talents. 

Audition Details

• Date: March 26, 2026

• Time: 3:10 – 5:00 PM (Parent must be in the Parent Pickup line at 5 pm)

• Location:  (TBD)

• Deadline: Return the sign-up form and your recorded music by March 25, 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.

Performance Requirements

To ensure a high-quality show, please adhere to the following rules:

• One Act Only: Participants may only audition for one performance.

• Mastery Required: This showcase is for "stage-ready" skills you have already mastered. We have only four rehearsals, so this is not the time for skill development.

• Music: You must provide your own recorded music (we will not find it for you).

  • Singers: Use instrumental-only tracks (no lead vocals).

  • Content: All music and lyrics must be G-rated and age-appropriate (e.g., Disney classics).

• Safety: For safety reasons, no cheer lifts are allowed.

• Performance Length: 3-4 Minutes 

Rehearsal Schedule

Selected student acts must attend all mandatory rehearsals from 3:10 – 5:00 PM on:

• March 31, April 2, April 7,  April 9. A separate permission form will be required. 

• SHOW  DAY DRESS REHEARSAL APRIL 10, Students will be fed between dress rehearsal and the STAGE SHOW.

Note: Family acts are not required to attend rehearsals if all members do not attend Neil (for example, Parent and Child act), but must be fully performance-ready at the time of their audition.
