Weekly Wrap-Up and Safety Drill Notification
Positive Astros,
This coming week, we are excited to recognize Red Ribbon Week, the nation's oldest and largest drug prevention program. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and to encourage students to make healthy, drug-free choices. It's a time to celebrate a commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
This year's national theme is: "Life's a Puzzle, Solve it Drug-Free."
To kick off our week, we invite all students to show their support by wearing red this Monday, October 27th. Please note that the shirt doesn't have to have a collar.
Important Safety Note
Today, we successfully conducted an Active Threat Drill. Our staff and students were amazing, following directions and demonstrating safety procedures with discipline and calm. We are incredibly proud of how seriously everyone takes these critical drills.Looking Ahead: Cancer Awareness & Fall Events
