Dear Parents and Guardians,
This year, we are excited to announce a change to a valued tradition! We are moving away from the Polar Express and embracing the beloved Grinch! That's right, Grinchmas is coming to NAE!
Keeping our focus on Academics and the Leader in Me principles, we are preparing academic activities that align with this holiday inspiration.

🌟 Our Focus on Academics and Whole-Person Development

As we continue to support our focus on developing the whole person through the Leader in Me paradigm, we will be using the movie The Grinch to illustrate the importance of connection and how relationships ("the Glue") foster growth. This provides a valuable, context-rich lesson for our students.

🎬 Multi-Media Permission Required

To grant permission for your student to watch the movie The Grinch as part of this valuable lesson, please sign the Multi-Media Permission Slip linked below.
  • Prompt response is crucial to ensure your child can participate in this valuable lesson.
  • Please sign the form by December 12th.
🔔 Important Note on Participation
We understand that not all students may be comfortable with the movie's holiday theme or its PG rating. Therefore, an alternative academic activity will be provided for students whose parents/guardians do not sign the permission slip or who request an alternative.
